Century of Progress

Heritage Park will be hosting a celebration of the 1915 installation of brick paving and electric street lights in our city and all progress from that time forward.
The afternoon event will include the Rotary Club providing tours of the grounds, a performance by the Eastern Iowa Brass Band, dance lessons given by a salsa DJ, and $1 meals cooked by the West Liberty Lions of hamburgers, chips, and water.
Activities include face painting sponsored by the West Liberty State Bank and photo opportunities at the carousel and steam engine for the kids.
Other displays will be classic cars, including a Model T and 1913 Cadillac that have ties to West Liberty.
